1. Who we are

InkMagnet ("we") operates the website inkmagnet.com and the application app.inkmagnet.com. For any privacy matter, contact us at hello@inkmagnet.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address, name, password hash, or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
• Content you create: book topics, instructions, generated and edited book content.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser information and basic usage logs, used for security and abuse prevention (including Google reCAPTCHA).

3. Why we process it

• To provide the service: generating, storing and compiling your books (contract performance).
• To process payments and issue receipts (legal obligation, contract).
• To send transactional email such as verification codes and password resets (contract).
• To keep the service secure and prevent automated abuse (legitimate interest).

4. Processors we use

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, email delivery), Stripe (payments), Anthropic and other AI model providers (content generation; your book inputs are sent to them solely to generate your book), and Google (sign-in and reCAPTCHA).

5. Retention

Your account and books are kept until you delete them or your account. You can request deletion at any time by email; we remove personal data within 30 days, except where accounting law requires longer retention of billing records.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Write to hello@inkmagnet.com.

7. Cookies

The marketing site uses no tracking cookies. The application uses strictly necessary storage for keeping you signed in. reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies as described in Google's privacy policy.
