Topic, an optional title, language and length. Five sizes from 30 to 200 pages. Pick one, pay through Google Play, and the pipeline starts within seconds.
Track it, then download
A six-stage strip shows exactly where your book is: payment, plan, review, writing, typesetting, ready. When it finishes, the PDF and the EPUB open straight from the app.

Manual edits made in the browser are never overwritten by anything you do in the app.
The same price, paid a different way
In the app a book is a one-off Google Play in-app purchase, billed in your own currency with local tax included, which is why the figure on the phone is not the plain dollar price shown on this site. Neither version has a subscription, and a book bought in the app is the same book: full commercial rights, no watermark.

- Is the app free?
- The app is free to install and free to browse. You pay only when you order a specific book, as a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play.
- Do I need a separate account?
- No. It is the same InkMagnet account as on the web. Sign in on the phone and your existing books are there; order on the phone and the book shows up in the browser.
- Can I edit chapters in the app?
- Not yet. The app takes you from an idea to a finished, downloadable book. Rewriting chapter text happens in the web editor, and the app links straight to it.
- Is there an iPhone version?
- Not at the moment. On iOS the web app works in Safari, so you can order, track and download books from there.
- What Android version do I need?
- Android 7.0 (Nougat) or newer.
- What happens if I close the app while a book is being written?
- Nothing stops. The whole pipeline runs on our servers, so you can close the app, lose signal or restart the phone: the book carries on and is waiting when you come back.
